At Langford Manufacturing Co., we aim to deliver premium furniture safely, efficiently, and transparently throughout Namibia. This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, tracked, and received.

1. Order Processing

1.1 Processing Time
  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days.

  • Custom, made‑to‑order, or pre‑order furniture may have extended processing times. Expected lead times will be stated on product pages.

1.2 Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you’ll receive an email confirmation summarizing your items, delivery address, and expected dispatch timeframe.

2. Shipping within Namibia

2.1 Delivery Regions

We deliver to:

  • All major towns and cities (Windhoek, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Ongwediva, etc.)

  • Most rural areas (delivery times may be longer)

2.2 Delivery Timeframes

Average delivery times:

  • Windhoek: 2–4 business days

  • Coastal towns (Swakopmund/Walvis Bay): 3–7 business days

  • Other regions: 5–10 business days

Large furniture deliveries may require additional coordination. Our team will contact you to arrange the most suitable delivery window.

2.3 Shipping Fees

Shipping fees depend on:

  • Item weight

  • Delivery distance

  • Whether special handling is required (e.g., oversized pieces)

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

3. Large & Fragile Item Delivery

Because we sell premium furniture, many items require special handling.

3.1 White‑Glove Delivery (Optional Add‑On)

Includes:

  • Unboxing

  • Placement in the room of your choice

  • Basic assembly (if applicable)

  • Removal of packaging

3.2 Standard Delivery

Items are delivered to your front door. Assembly is not included unless purchased as an add‑on.

4. Pickup Options

If available, customers may collect orders from our warehouse or partner logistics depot.
You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup along with collection instructions.

5. Shipping Outside Namibia

International shipping is available on request.
Customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Cross‑border documentation

We will provide guidance and a shipping quote before processing your order.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • A tracking number

  • Courier company details

  • Delivery status updates

Large or custom deliveries may be coordinated by phone instead of standard tracking.

7. Delivery Requirements

7.1 Customer Availability

Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
If the courier cannot deliver:

  • A re-delivery fee may apply.

7.2 Access Conditions

Customers are responsible for confirming:

  • Doorway, staircase, lift, or hallway clearance

  • Driveway or building access

If delivery is not possible due to access limitations, cancellation or return fees may apply.

8. Damaged or Missing Items

8.1 Damage on Delivery

If your furniture arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours

  • Provide photos of the damage

We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund depending on the case.

8.2 Missing Parts / Items

If an item is missing:

  • Contact us within 48 hours

  • We’ll resolve it promptly

9. Delays

We strive to deliver on time, but delays may occur due to:

  • Weather

  • Import/back‑order stock

  • Logistics disruptions

We will keep you updated if any delay affects your order.
