At Langford Manufacturing Co., we take pride in offering premium, handcrafted, and carefully selected furniture. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, this Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights and our procedures to ensure a smooth resolution.
 

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return if:

  • The item is unused, in its original condition, and includes all packaging, labels, and accessories.

  • The request is made within 7 days of receiving the item.

  • The item is not a custom, made‑to‑order, or clearance/final‑sale item.

Items that cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalised furniture

  • Made‑to‑order pieces

  • Items marked as final sale

  • As‑is or display stock

  • Mattresses or bedding once opened (for hygiene reasons)

2. Refunds

If your return is approved after inspection:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • Shipping fees (original and return) are non‑refundable, except for cases where:

    • The item arrived damaged

    • The wrong item was delivered

Refunds may be partially reduced if:

  • The item shows signs of use

  • Packaging is missing or damaged

  • Accessories or components are not returned

3. Exchanges

If you prefer to exchange an item:

  • Exchanges follow the same eligibility rules as returns.

  • Exchanges are based on stock availability.

  • If the replacement item costs more, the customer must pay the difference.

  • If it costs less, the customer receives a refund of the difference.

4. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged or defective:

    • Photos of the packaging

    • Photos of the damaged/defective parts

We will:

  • Arrange repair, replacement, or refund depending on the severity of the issue

  • Cover return and re‑delivery shipping costs in these cases

Damage reported after 48 hours may be considered due to handling after delivery and may not qualify for a full remedy.

5. Non‑Delivery or Missing Items

If your delivery does not arrive within the expected timeframe:

  • If items are missing from a shipment, notify us within 48 hours

    • Use reliable packaging and tracking

    • We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit

  4. Inspection & Refund

    • Once received, the item will be inspected within 3–5 business days

    • You will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund

7. Furniture Delivery & Assembly‑Related Issues

Because large furniture pieces may require special handling:

  • Items assembled or installed by the customer incorrectly may not be eligible for return

  • Damage caused during customer assembly cannot be refunded

  • White‑glove delivery or assembly fees are non‑refundable

8. Custom‑Made and Special Orders

Custom, bespoke, or made‑to‑order furniture is created specifically for you. For this reason:

  • These items are non‑refundable

  • These items cannot be cancelled once production has begun

  • If damaged on arrival, we will repair or replace the item at no cost

9. Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund

  • Once shipped, cancellations must follow the standard return process

  • Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has started
